Chiropractic Techniques

At Vitae Health we use a variety of gentle and effective chiropractic techniques. All of these techniques are neurologically based, and as such, they are focussed on helping the nervous to become more organised.

Torque Release Technique (TRT)

This method of adjustment is known as Torque Release Technique. In chiropractic language this is known as a “low-force”, “neurologically-based” assessment and adjusting technique. It involves assessment of the tone/tension within your nervous system (dural tension) and utilises a low-force, "hand-held" adjusting tool called and integrator.

Neuro-Impulse Protocol (NIP)

Along with its gentleness (you can tolerate the thrust on your eyeball!) the uniqueness of the NIP system lies in its ability to direct the chiropractor to exactly the right location to adjust. It does this by its highly sophisticated integration of very precise chiropractic assessment techniques and detailed neurological examination. The technique is so precise, the typical NIP practitioner needs only adjust one location per visit to achieve maximum, sustainable clinical outcomes.

NIP was developed over many years by Dr Neil Davies.

This is the most common technique used on babies and toddlers at Vitae Health.
