New discoveries are being made in science all the time. One of the most significant findings that has been made over the last few years is the ability of the nervous system to repair itself. Only 10-15 years ago we were taught what many of you would know - "the number of nerve cells (called neurons) you are born with is the maximum you will ever have. Once they die, they are never replaced."
Stress & Emotional Health

Over the coming weeks we will be running a series all about "stress and emotional health". We will be addressing the brain's role in emotions and the importance of a healthy nervous system for healthy emotions. We will discover how stress impacts the body and how to cope with everyday stress better. We'll also look at how chronic stress play's such a major role in many of the sicknesses we see in society currently.
